Facial Toner Recipe: Simply Love Your Skin

Let’s start simply loving our skin with natural anti-aging ingredients.

This recipe is so incredibly quick and simple to make with only 2 ingredients, plus your essential oils of choice.

Why use a toner?
  • Toning your skin helps remove excess oils and dead skin cells that may have been left behind after washing.
  • Toning helps to balance your skin’s PH level.
  • Toning also helps to close the pores and allow your moisturizer to soak into the skin more efficiently.

I NEVER used to use toners, but as my skin ages, I found out that I love using a toner to rid of the dry and tired looking skin. My skin always looks more fresh and evenly toned for the day. Taking care of our skin by cutting out harsh chemical ingredients and using natural plant-based ingredients can also help slow the anti-aging process.

  • Witch Hazel
  • Vitamin E Oil
  • Favorite skin oils

  1. Fill 4 ounce container almost full with Witch Hazel.
  2. Add 1/2 teaspoon of Vitamin E oil.
  3. Add 10-15 drops of your favorite essential oils.
  4. Shake, baby, shake!
  5. Apply to face with a cotton round or ball.
Some of my Favorite Skin Oils:

Patchouli: is a digester of toxic material in the body, helping with acne, toning, wrinkles, and can even protect against harmful UV radiation.*

Frankincense: is your best friend when it comes to helping fine lines and wrinkles. It’s aroma is also incredibly grounding and can be highly spiritual, so I like to have this one with me everyday.

Geranium: helps promote healthy, clear, and hydrated skin. It helps bring out the glow in your skin along with reducing fine lines and wrinkles. Plus it smells divine.*

Cypress: helps control overactive sebum glands that can make our skin extra oily. Because cypress also helps healthy circulation and blood flow, it can help your skin to heal and build new cells.*

Lavender: is the swiss army knife of skin oils; gentle and great for nourishing all skin types. It can reduce redness and help fight acne.*

Lemon: helps to cleanse skin and is especially helpful with oily skin types. It can also promote healing and brighten pale dull complexions by removing dead skin cells.*

Carrot Seed: helps to nourish with aging, sunburnt and dry skin.*

Ditch and Switch:

There are so many healthy benefits from making the switch and using the natural ingredients used in this simple recipe. You are going to save loads of money this way. And you won’t be exposing yourself, family, or furry friends to the toxic chemicals that are in your pricey, conventional personal care products.

I’m so glad I’m able to share my wellness journey with you, one recipe or testimonial at a time. Please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions, and how I can continue to help!
