Soaps and Body Wash: Infused with Essential Oils

Have you ever wondered why your soaps are bright blue or purple?

It’s NOT for the power of clean or because lavender is purple.

It’s toxic, synthetic color to make it look more appealing to the consumer all while knowingly poisoning us.

Enjoy this SIMPLE swap for your hand soaps, body wash, baby bath time, face wash and more!


  • 1-4 Tablespoons of Dr. Bronners Liquid Castile Soap (up to 1:1 ratio soap to water depending on your sudsy preference)
  • (Optional) 1-2 Tablespoons of Moisturizing Carrier Oil, Witch Hazel, Local Honey, or Vitamin E oil (to help sooth skin)
  • 15-20 drops of Favorite Essential Oils
  • Water


  1. Poor Castile Soap in foam pump container.
  2. (Optional) Add Moisturizing Carrier Oil, Witch Hazel, Local Honey, or Vitamin E oil (to help sooth skin).
  3. Add Essential Oils.
  4. Top off with water (save some room to screw the pump back on).
  5. Shake it up.
  6. Enjoy your natural and chemical free soaps!

Here’s a couple ideas if you want help getting started:

There are so many combinations of essential oils you can use to make your soaps that will help to promote wellness and healthy looking skin. Everybody has their own favorite aromas. Try adding 2-3 single oils for a nice blend.

Baby Bedtime Bath:
  • Lavender Essential Oil
Brighten Me Up Face Wash:
  • Tea Tree Essential Oil
  • Orange Essential Oil
  • Carrot Seed Essential Oil
  • Frankincense Essential Oil

  • Frankincense Essential Oil
  • Orange Essential Oil
  • Carrot Seed Essential Oil
Thieves Hand Soap:
  • Thieves Essential Oil
HOliday spirit SOAP:
  • Patchouli  Essential Oil
  • Pine Essential Oil
